PUK! is an independent photobook platform founded in 2017 by Nikola Mihov, Tihomir Stoyanov and Rossen Kuzmanov. PUK! organises book presentations, artist talks and pop-up exhibitions. Previously PUK! has invited leading names in the international photography scene such as Vanessa Winship, George Giorgiou, Jean-Marie Donat, Matthieu Nicol and Trisha Ziff, as well as Bulgarian artists like Hristina Tasheva and Atanasov. In PUK!’s online bookstore, you can find a selection of photobooks by Bulgarian and international authors. The PUK! collection includes photobooks, zines, catalogues and photography magazines. The aim of the platform is to popularise photobooks in Bulgaria and to present the Bulgarian photobook scene abroad. PUK! collaborates with organisations and galleries such as delpire & co, Spector Books, Sofia Film Fest, the Institut Français, Goethe-Institut, Synthesis Gallery, KO-OP, One Book Bookstore and Structura Gallery.
